Upcycled Pleated Denim Skirt 28" Waist

This black denim pleated skirt was sewn from a pair of jeans purchased second hand. This item is one of a kind, with safety pins and lino printed designs added to the front!

All stitching for the upcycling was done with heavy duty sewing thread.

Waist ~28"

Length ~15.5" (without lace)

Wash and Care:

• Handwash only
• Do not tumble dry - lay flat to dry
• Remove safety pins prior to washing

You may experience some fading of the lino printed designs over time. This is perfectly normal.

You may notice some loose threads on this item due to the denim fraying. Any areas where the denim has a raw edge and may fray has a line of stitching which will prevent the fraying past a certain point. 

This item is created in my small home studio with only a sewing machine, so it will not look as neat as something you may find in a shop and will have a handmade look/feel to it. 

I am still learning when it comes to upcycling and sewing. Although I have checked the stitching and strength of parts of this item as much as possible, you may notice some imperfections. I have priced this item at a lower rate due to it being a little less perfect than an experienced sewist may be able to create.
